Who makes TurnWarden

I'm Patrick, a Dungeon Master in Brisbane, Australia. I built TurnWarden for my own table.

My table

I've played D&D since 2019. These days I run a D&D 5.5e campaign that meets every fortnight.

For years I ran combat the way most DMs do: initiative on a notepad, hit points in my head, and a sticky note for whoever was Frightened.

Why I built it

The bookkeeping wasn't the worst part. My players never knew when their turn was coming. Every turn started with a surprised "Oh, is it me?" and a minute of reading their character sheet while the table waited.

So I built the tool I wanted: one screen where I run the fight, and a Player View the whole table can see. Once my players could see the initiative order, who was Bloodied and who was Concentrating, they started planning their turns before they came around. Combat got faster, and it got more tactical.

Who you are dealing with

TurnWarden is a small, independent product. I build it, I answer the support email, and I read every message in the Founding Warden Discord.

If something's broken or missing, email support@turnwarden.com. It comes straight to me.
